A few years ago, I wrote this post about the MSC Easy Drink Package because it was hard to find the information. MSC has since updated its drink plans. However, I didn’t want to leave you in the dark, so let’s see what’s new in an MSC Cruises drink package.

MSC Cruises no longer publishes the cost of its beverage packages on its website. Instead, you need to log in to your booking to see the prices for your cruise. Budgeting for your cruise can be a challenge if you want to see the pricing before booking.
Here is the estimated pricing for MSC Cruises drink packages. Pricing is subject to change at any time, so log into your booking to view the most up-to-date pricing for your vacation.

Easy Plus Drink Package includes:
Includes all drink types listed priced up to $9
- Variety of frozen and classic cocktails
- Well spirits
- Liqueurs and cordials
- Selection of wines by the glass
- 10% discount on bottles of wine purchased on board
- Variety of draught and bottled beers
- Non-alcoholic cocktails
- Soft drinks
- Mineral water
- Coffee drinks (latte, espresso, cappuccino, etc.)
- Hot chocolate and hot teas
*Drinks are available in bars, buffets, restaurants, specialty restaurants, Ocean Cay Island, and other exclusive locations. Signature venues (Venchi 1878 outlets, Lavazza Coffee Shop, Jean Philippe Chocolate, Coffee, Crepes & Gelato, Starship Club, Hola! Tacos & Cantina) are not available for consumption.
Premium Extra Drink Package includes:

- 25% discount on wine and champagne bottles purchased on board

- Alcohol-free cocktails

- Hot teas
- Soft-serve ice cream
*For minors aged 3-20 on North American & Caribbean itineraries. You can enjoy beverages at selected bars, buffet and main restaurants, Ocean Cay Island, and other exclusive destinations. However, you Cannot consume beverages in specialty restaurants and signature venues (Venchi 1878 establishments, Lavazza Coffee Shop, Jean Philippe Chocolate, Coffee, Crepes & Gelato, Starship Club, Hola! Tacos & Cantina), regardless of beverage price.

Not all drinks are available for free in all bars. For example, tea and coffee are available free of charge but only in the buffet area.
Sample MSC Drinks Prices:
- A glass of wine: $9 to $11
- Bottle of beer: $10.50 to $12.50
- Cocktail: $11 to $20
- Spirit and mixer: $9 to $20
- Soft drink: $3.50 to $5
- Water (500ml): $3.50
- Coffee: $2.50 to $5

ONE THING TO NOTE:
I booked this cruise in March 2021. During this time, MSC changed my cabin a few times. However, they somehow deleted the Easy drink package that is supposed to come with Aurea (remember, you still get the drink and spa package if you booked Aurea before November 13, 2021). So, I had to call to get it added back. So, if you booked Aurea before the November deadline, be sure to check your reservation. Just call, and they will add it back for you.
